What is cool? Is it a style? An attitude? An all-embracing existential concept? Some historians have suggested the concept of cool can be traced all the way back to the Ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle, but wherever it comes from, it’s a concept that’s constantly evolving, so just because something was cool yesterday doesn’t mean it will be tomorrow.

Moving on to shirts. Now this is fun.

“Honey, do you need some more work shirts?”

“No babe, I’m fine. Can you pick up some cheese?” I have actually had this conversation. No lie. (I’m sure if anyone brought this up to him, he’d shake his head and say “No, this never happened.” – but it has. I promise.)

Men can’t be bothered with clothing (well most. My husband has a friend who takes longer to get ready then 3 women getting ready for their wedding). Since we’ve been together, I’ve introduced my husband to cargos, and polos and jeans. I had never seen him in a pair of jeans until I bought him a pair. I promise you, all men should own a good pair of jeans. He looked soooooo good in them. Hm.. maybe men actually have it right, maybe they should just stick to letting women pick out their clothes and let that be the end of it. Although I do have to admit, my husband bought socks and a polo for himself. He’s learning! I’m so proud.
